Step into independent business
As an experienced consultant for bakery and meat processing machines, Dieter Funk, together with his wife Ruth, takes the step into self-employment and lays the cornerstone for today’s family business.

Registration of today’s FUNK GmbH
The demand for competent advice on the subject of scale ice grows, so it was soon clear: in order to meet the inquiries and consultations, the company has to grow.

Success is a staircase, not a door… Move to the present location

2002
We develop Funk EasyClean®
A milestone in hygienic scale ice production. With Funk EasyClean® we help our food producing customers to comply with the high international HACCP standard. Hygiene is responsibility!
2006
We move with the times… The new Event Center
A matter of heart, which still fills us with great pride, is the construction and opening of our Event Center. On about 500sqm we primarily offer enough space for a pleasant and modern place of work for our employees but also for product trainings and many other services.

Time for change
To ensure that Dieter Funk’s life’s work continues in the future, his two daughters Melanie and Larissa Funk will follow in his footsteps as the second generation and give a fresh breeze to the tried and tested.
